You will serve as a . technical authority and mentor. , ensuring knowledge transfer and continuous improvement within engineering teams.. . . Responsibilities and Duties. . Training Development & Delivery. . . . Develop and deliver . technical classroom training. for engineering personnel. . . . Qualify and maintain . SME/Instructor status. across multiple engineering topics. . . . Create, update, and maintain . training materials, curriculum, and documentation. . . . Translate complex engineering concepts into structured, effective training content. . . . Technical Leadership & Mentorship. . . . Provide . technical guidance and mentorship. to engineering staff. . . . Support workforce development and knowledge transfer initiatives. . . . Present technical information to engineers, leadership, and trainees. . . . Program Support & Compliance. . . . Ensure alignment with . DOE and SRS engineering standards, procedures, and programs. . . . Support continuous improvement of engineering training processes. . . . Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. . . . . Tools & Skills. . . . Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). . . . Technical training development and delivery. . . . Engineering documentation and standards interpretation. . . . Strong presentation and communication capabilities. . . . . Minimum Qualifications. . . . U.S. Citizenship required. . . . PhD + 5+ years, MS + 8+ years, or BS + 10+ years of engineering experience. . . . Demonstrated experience delivering . technical training or instruction. . . . Strong communication and presentation skills. . . . Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. . . . Ability to qualify as a . Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Instructor. . . . . Desired Skills. . . . Familiarity with . SRS engineering manuals, procedures, and standards. . . . Prior . teaching, instructional, or curriculum development experience. . . . Previous . Savannah River Site (SRS) experience. . . . DOE or nuclear industry background. . . . .
