Director of IT at Quilt LLC. . Location: Provo, Utah. Position Summary. . The Director of IT will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations. This includes managing a hybrid environment of PCs and Macs, leading the integration of acquired companies, and ensuring seamless migrations of email and file systems from both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Strategic Leadership . . Develop and execute the IT roadmap aligned with business goals.. . Lead IT due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions.. . Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement.. . . . Infrastructure & Operations . . Oversee the administration of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.. . Ensure smooth operation of a mixed PC and Mac environment.. . Maintain network security, data integrity, and system availability.. . Support and optimize Slack as the company’s primary communication platform.. . Manage devices and IT needs for remote and on-site employees (4 offices, ~30% remote workforce) . . . . Migrations & Integrations . . Lead migrations of email and file systems from Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 to the company’s environment.. . Standardize and streamline IT systems across newly acquired entities.. . . . Team Management . . Build and lead a high-performing IT team.. . Provide mentorship, training, and career development opportunities.. . . . Security & Compliance . . Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices.. . Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).. . . . . Qualifications. . . Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).. . 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.. . Proven experience with: . . Microsoft 365 administration and migrations.. . Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations.. . Managing both Windows and macOS environments.. . IT integration during mergers and acquisitions.. . . . Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.. . Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.. . . Preferred Certifications. . . Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert. . Google Workspace Administrator. . CompTIA Security+ or CISSP. .
