We are looking for a Senior Policy Associate who will be responsible for supporting the company's Legal team on all aspects of the company's global policy work with a primary focus on the APAC region. This role will also partner with internal business development and operations teams to help drive Uniswap's international growth efforts across key APAC markets. We are seeking an individual with experience and passion for policy work in innovative and emerging technologies.. . This is a remote role in the APAC region. The preferred location is Singapore, Seoul or Tokyo. . . Responsibilities:. . . Managing critical APAC policy workstreams for the company, including advocacy and engagement on legislative and regulatory proposals. . Working together with the international policy team, you will help advise the business on relevant APAC policy development or regulations for our industry. . Building and maintaining relationships with government officials and regulators across APAC to be a resource. . Directing our engagement with main APAC stakeholders . . Preparing consultation responses, position papers, and other advocacy materials. . Participating and representing the company in trade associations and other collaborative industry projects. . Work collaboratively with other members of the legal and policy team. . . . . Requirements:. . . 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree . . Experience in APAC government policy, experience in a regulatory agency or legislative office on financial and/or technology issues. . Familiarity with regulatory and legislative technology-related laws and proposed initiatives in major jurisdictions in the APAC region. . Willing to tackle tasks large or small on a small team with a critical role. . Organized and detailed oriented. . Fluency in Korean and/or Japanese preferred . . Comfort with occasional travel within region as needed. . Willingness to travel to NYC 1x/quarter as needed. . . Minimum full-time salary of $202,000-$225,000.
