Sr Data Applications Engineer at GeneDx. . Location: Remote. Summary . .  . We are seeking a Data Apps Engineer to join our Data Applications team within the Data Platform organization. This role builds intuitive, data-driven applications that surface insights from structured and semi-structured data to empower clinical, operational, and business stakeholders. You will partner with data engineers, product managers, and business users to deliver web applications, embedded visualizations, and data experiences that make information accessible and actionable across GeneDx.. . Job Responsibilities. . .  Build and maintain data-driven React applications using a python backend and embedded BI solutions (Sigma). . . Develop web interfaces and tools that consume and display data from our enterprise data warehouse. . . Implement and integrate BI tools and embedded analytics . . Work with structured and semi-structured data to deliver performant, reliable solutions. . . Building data models in a Snowflake data warehouse as needed. . . Partner with Data Engineering and Product teams to support workflows across commercial data application,  clinical operations, lab logistics, and commercial analytics. . . Apply best practices in code quality, testing, performance optimization, and secure design. . . Contribute ideas to improve usability, scalability, and maintainability of internal apps. . . Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, remote-first environment. . . Use infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) to provision and manage cloud environments. . .
