What You’ll Do. . . The Manager of Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provide direct management to Acute Care APPs in collaboration with medical and nursing leadership. Identify and participate in strategic efforts to best support the service line operational needs.. . This role is primarily administrative; however, it does include a clinical component as needed. Clinical responsibilities may arise on any weekday (Monday - Friday) in response to staffing shortages or increased patient volume. Additionally, coverage may be required on weekends, nights, or holidays if open shifts cannot be filled.. . You will:. . . Supervise clinical APPs in collaboration with the supervising physician and operational/service line leadership.. . Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance evaluations, and improvement plans to support APP professional growth and ensure clinical excellence. . . Create objectives and implement goals for team cascading from organizational goals.. . Ensure accurate and timely documentation of PTO, payroll, and other administrative responsibilities.. . Partner with service line leaders to coordinate recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training processes for APPs within the service line.. . Lead and participate in market/service-line level multidisciplinary workgroups and committees.. . Maintain consistent communication across service lines, sharing progress, needs, and key updates with leadership and stakeholders.. . Collaborate with other APP leaders to advance professional practice standards, education, and clinical initiatives.. . Provide virtual acute care services to Imagine Pediatrics members and their caregivers, delivering high-quality, compassionate care as part of our innovative care model.. . In this role, you will need:. . . You have at least 7 years of experience as a Pediatric PA or NP in a high-volume acute care setting. . . At least 3 years of experience leading a team of APPs within a highly cross-matrixed organization required.. . Experience managing medically complex pediatrics required. . . Ambulatory pediatric practice experience strongly desired. . Tele-health experience a plus, especially in the virtual urgent care space . . Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner strongly desired. . Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care a plus . . PAs Certified in Pediatrics strongly desired.. . It is required that you have an active license to practice in at least one of the following states: (TX, FL, LA, MO, NC, or GA) and are willing to obtain licenses in all other existing and future Imagine Pediatrics markets. Candidates that do not have licensure in these states will however be considered. . . Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration or eligible for application. . . Maintenance of professional credentialing and CME standards . . You have experience working within an interdisciplinary team. . You have a stable and reliable internet connection; can troubleshoot basic tech issues and you have a private place to work.. . Schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with administrator-on-call responsibilities approximately once every 6–7 weeks. Additional hours may occasionally be required during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
