JOB DESCRIPTION. . The Special Events Security Experiences Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of comprehensive security programs for T0, T1, and T2 Experiences, requiring expertise in risk assessment, security protocols, team leadership, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure safe and secure Experiences. This position demands exceptional communication, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to develop tailored security solutions that balance protection with guest experience. In addition, this role will be responsible for extensive coordination with a variety of stakeholders, including internal teams, external security vendors, and local authorities, to ensure that all experiences are not only safe and secure but also aligned with the client’s commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. . . RESPONSIBILITIES. . . Develop and implement T0, T1, and T2 Experience security policies, protocols, and procedures.. . Manage the intake security requests for all T0, T1, and T2 Experiences. . . Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities with Experiences.. . Reach out to Security Vendors to obtain quotes, contracts, and manage Experience-specific details with onsite Security Vendor teams. . . Educate and manage Security Vendors on Experience-specific protocols, emergency response procedures, and company service standards. . . Collaborate and coordinate with T0, T1, and T2 Experience Producers and Experience Production teams during the Experience planning phase to ensure proper company guidelines are being followed during Experiences. . . Create detailed documentation including event security plans, incident reports, and post-experience evaluations. . . Respond to and manage security incidents during Experiences, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution procedures. Escalating to leadership when necessary.. . Provide perspectives, promote ideas, strategies, and initiatives concerning security issues that are critical to the success of Experiences. Ensure that security operational concepts are viable, cost effective and aligned with overall Experience Teams’ objectives.. . Continuously monitor threat indicators and modify security plans to address changes that may affect the Experience security posture.. . Comfortable in dealing with authorities, executives, Experience Teams, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressing situations.. . Supervise and direct the workflow of communications requests, ensuring requests are handled in a timely fashion.. . A team player who can both lead and carry out the vision of other leaders when directed.. . Comfort with technology, ability to learn new applications with a proficiency of MS Office Suite, with particular attention in Excel.. . Excellent ability to set priorities, plan long-term, manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform in a fast-paced friendly environment to meet deadlines.. . Must adhere to team specific requests including venue location choices, budgetary restraints, vendor preference, etc.. . Must have general knowledge of contracts/SOWs as it relates to event vendors, and stakeholders.. . Research and negotiate with vendors as necessary on behalf of Experience POCs.. . Must adhere to all legal/medical restrictions and regulations while planning security for Experiences.. . Must have a basic understanding of risks and mitigation strategies while security for Experiences.. . Be able to coordinate with multiple vendor representatives and create structured guidelines and plans of action for Experiences/projects.. . Must be in attendance of all Airbnb-required meetings, which may include daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly syncs/check-ins.. . . REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS. . . Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience. . Proven leadership skills and experience in planning and execution of multiple projects. . . Must be able to execute and manage Experiences of varying sizes from small (10-20 attendees) to large (10,000+ attendees).. . Must be able to work in a corporate, professional environment.. . Must have exceptional time management skills and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.. . Required to have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite.. . Must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision and be self-motivated to exceed expectations.. . Must be able to identify critical issues quickly and accurately, as well as provide solutions to potential problems or concerns.. . Must be able to follow instruction and be receptive to constructive criticism.. . Must have a willingness to grow within the team and the company, and to grow the client relationship(s) with POCs.. .
