We are seeking a highly pragmatic, business-first Human Resources Leader to oversee our core People operations. This role will serve as the senior leader of the People team, overseeing HR operations, employee relations, performance management, and Talent Acquisition across the organization. We do not view HR as just an administrative function; we view it as a critical operational partner that helps us drive high performance and assemble elite teams.. . Drive a Culture of Excellence:. Set and reinforce clear, consistent expectations for excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement company-wide.. . Act as a Business Partner:. Understand our product, our customers, and our bottom line. Provide clear, practical, and objective guidance to managers on complex organizational and people challenges.. . Performance Density:. Lead our performance management processes, including goal setting and calibration. Equip managers to address underperformance promptly and constructively, ensuring fair, transparent, and consistent outcomes.. . Talent Acquisition Leadership:. Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to develop scalable recruiting strategies, improve hiring processes, and attract high-performing talent aligned with Donorbox’s standards and culture. Provide leadership and strategic oversight for Talent Acquisition operations across the organization.. . Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:. Own employee relations matters end-to-end with a calm, objective, and highly professional approach. Partner with Legal to conduct investigations and resolve issues fairly and efficiently.. . Streamline Operations:. Oversee and continuously improve HR systems, policies, and the employee handbook. Proactively identify and eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy to keep the company moving fast.. . Compliance & Fairness:. Bachelor or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related operational field. . Operational Leadership. :. Proven people-management experience . outside. of the HR function (e.g., in Operations, Sales, Product, or Engineering). You must intimately understand the day-to-day realities and pressures of the business.. . HR Expertise:. 7+ years of professional HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior HR or People Operations capacity, ideally scaling a high-growth company of 100+ employees.. . Compliance Knowledge:. Strong, practical knowledge of U.S. labor law, EEO compliance, and HR best practices.. . Conflict Resolution:. Proven experience managing complex employee relations with a neutral, objective, and professional approach.. . Communication:. Excellent, direct communicator. Ability to influence, coach, and support stakeholders at all levels without relying on corporate jargon.. . Execution:. Strong bias for action. Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment and acting as both a strategic architect and hands-on executor while scaling people processes and organizational infrastructure.. .
