We're looking for a psychiatrist who wants to practice great psychiatric care — with kids, families, and young adults — without the demands of a full-time schedule.. . Backpack Healthcare provides mental health care for children, teens, and young adults — all online, covered by most insurance. We're clinician-led and minority-owned, and our psychiatrists are a core part of an integrated care team, not a separate service line. You'll work alongside PMHNPs, therapists, and care coordinators who are all focused on the same patients.. . If you want meaningful part-time psychiatric work with real clinical collaboration and real flexibility — this is worth your time.. . . What this role looks like. . You'll carry a part-time caseload of 15–22 hours per week, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment via telehealth. Afternoon and evening availability is required. Weekend hours are available based on patient demand.. . Day-to-day you'll:. . . Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments across the lifespan. . Diagnose and manage ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and more. . Develop individualized treatment plans including medication management and therapy recommendations. . Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, primary care providers, schools, and families. . Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as needed. . Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations. . Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Georgia regulations. . Stay current on developments in psychiatric care and evidence-based treatment. . . . What we offer. . . Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry. . Active Georgia medical license and DEA license. . Strong communication skills and genuine comfort working with diverse patient populations. . Bilingual English/Spanish — strongly encouraged. . Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settings preferred. . Familiarity with telepsychiatry platforms and EHR systems preferred. . . . Who we are. .
