Accounts Receivable Specialist at SanMar Employee Board. . Location: Remote.  . . What's the Short Version?. . The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist works directly with SanMar's customers and provides leadership to an AR Team. They assist with order coverage (pools), guiding AR Reps with specific customer situations involving credit limits, and evaluate risk, opportunity, and potential elevated steps to take with customers. They support to the AR Supervisors by answering procedural questions and working as a lead for their assigned team.. .  . . What Will You Be Doing?. . . Manage order flow, collections, risk management and opportunity for assigned customers.. . Assist AR Team representatives with order pool coverage including helping to coordinate coverage among the team.. . Work with Department Supervisors to help recognize coaching opportunities, providing limited coaching directly to AR Reps.. . Primary point of contact for procedural questions from AR Reps.. . Assist with credit file/limit updates, the first point of contact in reviewing customer accounts with AR reps for both limit increase opportunities, or potential risk management.. . Assist with difficult customer conversations, elevating smoothly to Supervisors or Managers as needed.. . Assist Supervisor in compiling performance metrics and conducting monthly reporting.. . Assist with training and refresher courses.. . Perform other duties as assigned.. . Comply with all policies and standards.. . .  . . What Are We Looking For?. . . Associate's Degree preferred. . 4-6 years of Collection or Customer Service experience. . 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience is preferred. . Experience with large ERP systems, Microsoft D365, Salesforce. . Experience in international shipping and import/trade/banking documents and D365 ERP software. . Must be able to work as part of and with a team and be self-directed with minimal supervision. . Approachable with ability to change directions quickly and positively. . Excellent time management skills. . Demonstrates an understanding of risk management and business building opportunities. . Understands and demonstrates SanMar’s culture and commitment to customer service. . Strong negotiating skills – ability to get positive results. . Leads by example and with a positive attitude. . Ability to communicate effectively with diplomacy and tact. . Excellent communication skills, good listener. . Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn. . .  . . What's Our Offer? . . Salary Range: You`ll earn between $25.00 - $33.65 (WA, NJ); $23.00 - $30.96 (MN, NV, TX, VA); $21.50 - $28.94 (AZ, ID, FL MT, OH, TN) on an hourly basis, depending on experience.. .  . . Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.. .  . . Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.. .  . . Remote: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST.
