What you’ll do. . Update PeopleFinders.com to bring in organic traffic through Google and other search engines, following product specifications that include page designs and related requirements. Find optimal ways to build pages so they are lightning fast, and adhere to performance guidelines from Google and other tools. Proactively monitor logs, errors, and other analytics in order to identify opportunities.. . . . You’ll have (Requirements). . . Experience programming in ASP.NET/.NET Core/C#. . Working knowledge in web protocols, such as HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, etc.. . Familiarity with deploying and managing applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS). . Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/EKS. . Experience with RESTFul API, and JSON. . Experience building and delivering high performing web applications. . Experience creating technical specifications, object models and test plans.. . Keen sense for problem solving while working individually, and as part of a team.. . Knowledge of browser compatibility issues.. . Knowledge of Responsive web design practices.. . Experience with source control systems, specifically Git / GitLab.. . Strong written and verbal communication skills (we’re remote!). . BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.. . . Nice to Have (Bonus Points). . . Any SEO experience preferably with a high-volume site with millions of URLs. . Working knowledge of Technical SEO practices and approaches. . Knowledge of search engine ranking factors. . Experience with Site Performance Testing including experience with Page speed Insights, GTMetrix, Core Web Vitals API’s, and other speed tools. . Continually optimize pages and assets to be lighting fast and light-weight. . Experience exposing directories to search engines through sitemap XML files. . Experience building and updating sitemap XML files. . Experience working with Search Indexing API’s on Google/Bing and other search engines. . Experience managing routes, redirects, and HTTP response codes. . Knowledge of Node.JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and structured data. . Numbers-focused: regularly measure KPIs against the competitive landscape and take steps to ensure we're a leader. . Knowledge of; GO, Bootstrap, PHP, Vue.JS, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MS-SQL, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. .
