Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:. . . Steer specific production shop’s operating budget & forecast within the manufacturing plant. . Act as in-house financial consultant and consult with the respective director/managers to support financial and headcount target achievement. . Coordinate and conduct financial forecasts during the year with responsible production shops and identify areas of risks and opportunities. . Coordinate and conduct month end closing activities. . Promote continuous improvement in finance systems and processes. . Maintain routine dialog/network collaboration with colleagues in various divisions. . Perform variance analysis versus critical financial figures. . Track and explain financial performance deviation against KPIs. . Summarize financial performance and present the results to various levels of management. . Represent finance organization in carrying out finance initiatives. . Verify the quality/data integrity of financial figures in business cases. . Perform other duties assigned by management. . . Location & Travel Expectations. :. . . This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC..  . . The responsibilities of this role require . 3-4 days.  . attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. . . Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.. . . BA/BS/BBA in Finance, Accounting or business degree. . 3+ years of experience in a financial, FP&A, controlling or accounting role. . 3+ years of professional experience in the manufacturing environment (preferably in automotive industry). . Experience and know-how in the area of Financial Planning and Analysis. . Ability to pay attention to details as well as summarize complicated situations into management summary. . Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. . Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written. . Ability and flexibility to both compromise and stand firm for financial decisions in an ever-changing environment. . Prior experience in SAP or similar ERP systems. . . What you'll gain. .
