SRS Acquiom is a key thought leader in the private-target M&A space and a growing thought leader in other vertical fintech spaces, with proprietary studies and content not found anywhere else. To maintain and advance our position, innovative and forward-thinking content strategy is critical. . The Director, Content Strategy will be responsible for architecting content strategy and collaborating cross functionally to lead the creation of distinctive thought leadership content that directly supports business objectives, sales efforts and marketing campaigns.  . . The salary range for this position is between $150k and $160k depending on level of experience..  . . This is a continental US based fully remote role, with some travel required.. . Primary Responsibilities  .  . . Content Strategy and Planning.  . . . Lead content strategy for thought leadership leveraging deep knowledge of business goals, campaign strategies, SEO/SEM, and earned media strategies..  . . . . Synthesize research and data into compelling strategies that ensure content is impactful, relevant and engaging..  . . . . Create and manage the editorial calendar for a comprehensive end-to-end content program that aligns with the business/brand strategy and demand generation efforts.   .  . . . . Understand audience behaviors, content needs and consumption patterns by staying in tune with the market and competitive activity..  . . . . Proactively monitor and apply evolving content best practices to the content strategy and approach. .  . . . . Strong knowledge of evolving content consumption by channel and the impact of content form. Able to apply learnings and identify the best content form across platforms (social, email, video, etc.)..  . . .  . . Content Creation.  . . . Deliver content on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic objectives. Work cross functionally with the web and campaigns teams to publish content..  . . . . Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and teams to lead the creation of strategic content that is relevant and engaging..  . . . . Manage external resources to develop highly targeted, highly sought-after insights packaged in highly engaging content..  . . . . Content governance, managing and guiding content ensuring consistency and alignment with brand voice and identity..  . . .  . . Content Lifecycle Management.  . . . Assess and manage the library of content in an ongoing manner to ensure content remains relevant and effective..  . . . . Collaborate with web and SEO team to continually update content and test new strategies to drive SEO, manage reader journeys and find new opportunities for organic lead generation..  . . .  . . Required Qualifications & Skills.  .  . . . BA or BS degree from a four-year college/university.  . . . . 8+ years’ B2B content marketing experience.  . . . . Strong research skills, superior attention to detail and a proven ability to translate data into actionable strategic recommendations.  . . . . Collaborative, team-player, natural relationship builder.  . . . . Highly flexible, curious problem-solver, able to move quickly and think creatively.  . . . . Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment .  . . . . Proven ability to lead the creation and ongoing implementation of a content strategic plan and execution.  . . . . Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and communicate complex ideas.  . . . . Strong understanding of how content is tied to campaign strategy and lead generation..  . . . . Able to lead by influence, bringing strategy to the forefront and providing impact at every stage of development. .  . . . . Strong understanding of B2B marketing best practices, and a deep curiosity for staying on top of the latest trends in content strategy. .  . . . . Working knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices and their impact on content and content strategy..  . . . . Experience managing external vendors and partners.  . . . . Exceptional project management skills. Proven ability to successfully manage multiple, concurrent projects. . Experience using tools like Asana and/or Smartsheet is a plus..  . . .
