The DFM Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) processes, ensuring seamless transition from design to production, and leading a team of DFM engineers. Responsibilities:. . . . Lead and manage a team of DFM engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.. . . . Coordinate the development and launch of products into production, ensuring manufacturability and efficiency.. . . . Act as a liaison between customers and supplier companies, facilitating clear communication and managing expectations.. . . . Ensure the smooth transition from design to production through concurrent engineering activities with process engineers.. . . . Implement and manage engineering change management processes related to product modifications.. . . . Perform and oversee DFM analyses to identify and resolve potential manufacturing issues.. . . . Lead product definition and development to ensure compliance with customer specifications, including geometry convergence.. . . . Apply and enforce the production management system, engineering change management, tools, and standards.. . . . Ensure that main production stages are completed successfully and on time.. . . . Analyze incoming drawings and CAD models, providing recommendations on the technological process and resolving production problems.. . . . Systematize work and participate in task setting for process automation.. . . . Conduct technological and economic analysis of customer parts.. . . . Qualifications: Minimum bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing-related engineering fields.. . . . Minimum of 12 years of experience in a DFM role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.. . . . Expert knowledge of various manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on CNC machining and Sheet Metal Fabrication.. . . . Strong understanding of Injection Moulding and Additive Manufacturing processes.. . . . Strong proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Siemens NX, and Kompas 3D.. . . . Knowledge of various metal and plastic post-processes (e.g., polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, coatings, and painting).. . . . Knowledge of structural materials and their machining properties (metals, plastics, composites).. . . . Experience in cost estimation and analysis of production.. . . . Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.. . . . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.. . . .
