The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods in our warehouse. Key Responsibilities:. . . . Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.. . . . Oversee the receipt, inspection, and verification of incoming shipments against purchase orders and inventory records.. . . . Develop and implement efficient processes for stocking and organizing inventory in designated areas of the warehouse.. . . . Establish and maintain procedures for conducting regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.. . . . Analyze and resolve discrepancies in inventory or shipping, implementing corrective actions as needed.. . . . Coordinate the preparation and processing of shipments for delivery, including packing, labeling, and documentation.. . . . Manage the processing of returns, damaged goods, and defective products, ensuring timely and accurate handling.. . . . Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.. . . . Oversee the operation and maintenance of forklifts and other warehouse equipment.. . . . Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely delivery of goods.. . . . Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and shipping times, and implement strategies to achieve targets.. . . . Manage special projects and tasks as assigned by management.. . . . . . . . Requirements for applicants. . . . . . . . A minimum bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.. . . . 8+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.. . . . Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including training, performance management, and conflict resolution.. . . . Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count and record inventory.. . . . Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.. . . . Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, and best practices.. . . . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.. . . . Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems and warehouse. management systems (WMS).. . . . Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA standards.. . . .
