Fragrances. leadership team. .. . Bring financial . expertise. to all business partners by offering strategic insight and recommendations . to drive growth and maximize the P&. L. . Manage the. budgeting, . forecasting. and . monitoring. all aspects of the business including brand/customer sales, . trade . spending. , cost of goods sold, distribution, . brand support and departmental . spending. . . Providing financial . oversight for . fragrance . license management,. including acquisition and renewal . process. .. . . . . Responsibilities:. . . Manage monthly P&L review with cross functional teams, provide insights to drive profitable growth and mitigate risk. . . Analyze results by providing explanations on key P&L drivers for the period vs. forecast, budget and prior year including customer and product volume/mix, trade spend and advertising and promotions. . . Prepare and consolidate monthly forecast, annual budget, and strategic plans, working closely with Brand Management, Customer Planning & Strategy and Sales as part of S&OP process. . . Analyze proposed advertising, promotional spend and other activation investments with pre- and post-activity ROI analytics to help inform current and future decisions. . . Support commercialization and go-to-market analysis. . . Partner with cross-functional teams to monitor the brand/category marketplace including POS performance, market share, and category growth trends. Recommend actions based upon insights from trends. . . Support the New Product Development process (Innovation and Renovation) working with cross functional stakeholders including Brand Management, Consumer Insights, Customer Strategy & Planning, Sales, and Operations Finance. . . Optimize portfolio assortment based upon SKU level performance, innovation plans and market trends and recommend enhancements to the assortment. . . Optimize gross margin based upon pricing, mix management, cost improvement and innovation. . . Support managing and optimizing working capital including inventory. This includes portfolio optimization, establishing product life-cycle expectations and monitoring excess & obsolete inventory and establishing sell-through recommendations. . . Foster positive and collaborative relationships within finance team, cross-functional and regional leadership. . Identify gaps, and lead improvement projects, partnering with key stakeholders. . . Ensure ongoing governance, control, and compliance with both corporate and external procedures and audits. . . Perform strategic reviews of brands and other key contracts in the business. . . Present monthly financial results for management. . . Demonstrated self-starter and leader . . . Qualifications:. . . Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance . . Finance experience of 6-8 years with 3-5 years experience in Consumer Products . . Experience working with sales, marketing and supply chain teams.. . Accounting and/ or Finance degree required, MBA preferred.. . Knowledge of Sarbanes/Oxley. . Strong systems experience (expertise in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Hyperion).. . The base pay range for this position is $135,000.00 - $155,000.00/ year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location.
