About the Role . . The Senior Account Executive will manage strategic communications and media relations for a Fortune 100 client at the intersection of technology, policy, and global impact. This role requires strong writing and reporting skills, client management experience, and the ability to distill complex issues – such as cybersecurity and foreign policy – into compelling narratives. Candidates should bring a proactive mindset, public affairs expertise, and a passion for mentoring junior talent.. . Responsibilities . . . Manage media inquiries and build proactive relationships with national media and influencers . . Serve as day-to-day counsel to clients and agency stakeholders; project manage high-profile campaigns and provide key and tactical recommendations. . Oversee and reinforce consistent adherence to media management processes, including media lists, coverage monitoring, and industry coverage trends. . Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partners to gather information and ensure alignment across projects . . Monitor and provide insight on issue-specific news and social coverage. . Develop and analyze reports and industry trends; identify key issues and opportunities across public affairs business priorities to provide strategic counsel. . Negotiate and manage client expectations and satisfaction; assure internal and external stakeholders are aligned . . Maintain and grow client relationships by contributing to the development and implementation of communication strategies, executing on projects, leading where appropriate. . Model agency values, mentor and coach colleagues and junior staff on agency “best practices” and successful media engagement. . . Qualifications . . . 3–5 years in integrated communications/PR, preferably in an agency setting and/or within an applicable industry. . At least 2 years of experience in public policy, crisis/issues management, or strategic communications. . Strong media relations experience with demonstrated ability to manage and execute storytelling initiatives. . Excellent writing and editing skills, capable of delivering polished materials for client communications. . Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel) . . . Preferred Qualifications . . . Ability to provide thoughtful analysis and strategic recommendation based on industry knowledge . . High level of initiative; takes accountability for role on projects . . Demonstrated ability to establish client relationships. . Experience supporting executive level communications. . Customer/client service oriented. . Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations . . Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment (meet deadlines, multitask, etc.) . . The base annual salary range for this role, applicable across all U.S. locations, is outlined below.
