You work hands-on within your value stream while also contributing broadly across the organization - improving systems, enabling teams, and driving long-term technical impact.. You provide architectural and technical leadership by driving scalable architectures and long-term technical improvements across teams. . You support engineers hands-on in designing and implementing high-quality services, distributed systems, and data pipelines. . You collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and other Staff Engineers to align on architectural decisions and technical direction. . You evaluate and integrate AI technologies where they strengthen systems, processes, or product capabilities with measurable impact. . You enable responsible AI adoption by defining best practices, guidelines, and reusable patterns across engineering. . You mentor engineers and drive cross-team alignment while reducing complexity and improving engineering-wide consistency  . . .  . . Your experience & skills. . . You already work as a Staff Engineer and have impact on department level, not only within your team. . You have extensive experience in modern software engineering and distributed systems. . You bring strong architectural thinking and can align teams and stakeholders on technical decisions. . You have deep experience with event-driven systems, microservices, and AWS-based architectures. . You are familiar with data warehouse concepts, data modeling, data governance, data pipelines, and data quality frameworks . . You have a solid understanding of AI concepts such as LLMs, embeddings, vector search, agents, and automation patterns. . You have experience integrating AI capabilities into existing systems or workflows and assessing feasibility, risk, and impact. . You communicate fluently in English; German is a plus. . .  . .
