Role Overview. . We are seeking an experienced and proactive Program Manager – Training and Compliance to lead the development, execution, and oversight of training and compliance programs for our Group 5 UAS production test team. This role will ensure all personnel are qualified and compliant with applicable standards, including internal policies, customer contractual requirements, and regulatory mandates such as DCMA 8210.1 and AS9100. This position plays a critical role in mission readiness, Training, and audit preparedness.. Serve as the program-level owner for all compliance activities supporting Group 5 UAS test operations.. . Ensure compliance with DCMA 8210.1 series, AS9100, company SOPs, and customer contract requirements.. . Lead internal audits and compliance assessments; prepare teams for customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.. . Analyze data from audits, safety reports, and training outcomes to identify and mitigate performance or compliance risks.. . Act as primary liaison with DCMA, Quality Assurance, and Safety regarding compliance documentation and inspections.. . Champion a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory excellence within the test organization.. . Develop and deliver executive-level reporting on compliance status, metrics, and corrective actions.. . Interface directly with test engineering, flight operations, quality, and safety leadership to ensure alignment on compliance priorities.. . Serve as the program-level owner for all training activities supporting Group 5 UAS test operations.. . Design, create, implement, and maintain the training framework and materials for all test team roles (pilots, maintainers, safety observers, test directors, etc.).. . Oversee development and sustainment of qualification matrices, recurring training requirements, and certification processes.. . Oversee onboarding and recurrent training strategies, ensuring scalable, role-specific content and delivery mechanisms.. . Develop and deliver executive-level reporting on training status, metrics, and corrective actions.. . Interface directly with test engineering, flight operations, quality, and safety leadership to ensure alignment on training priorities.. . Partner with T&E training manager to ensure frameworks align with T&E training strategy.. . . . Required Qualifications. . . Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, business management, or a related field.. . 7+ years of experience in aviation, aerospace, defense, or related regulated industries.. . 3+ years in a leadership role managing compliance, quality systems, or training programs.. . Familiarity with Group 5 UAS or equivalent military/defense aviation systems.. . Demonstrated knowledge of DCMA 8210.1, AS9100, FAA regulations, and military test protocols.. . Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.. . Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills.. . Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.. . Ability to travel, as required.. . Flexibility to work long or irregular hours to support critical test operations.. . . Preferred Qualifications. . . Prior managing 8210.1D items (FOP/GOP, etc.). . Prior Military experience (Operations or Maintenance Officer/Senior Enlisted).. . Comfortable facilitating in-person, remote, or hybrid training sessions.. . Experience working with learning management system (Cornerstone).. . PMP certification or formal Program Management training.. . Background in flight test, maintenance, or aircrew operations.. . Experience implementing and maintaining training management systems (TMS/LMS).. . Understanding of instructional design models and learning theories.. . Proficient in course development software (Articulate Rise, Vybond, Adobe Captivate).. . Familiarity with government contracts, DD250 processes, and regulatory inspection prep.. .
