We are seeking a talented and creative . Video Editor. to join our team, primarily supporting the Growth Marketing team by producing engaging, growth-oriented video content for various digital channels.. . The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of growth-focused social media video content and excels at crafting videos optimized for audience engagement and conversion. You should possess a strong sense of how motion graphics, precise video editing, dynamic sound design, and compelling visuals synergistically work together to captivate and retain audience attention in a platform saturated with content.. . Key Responsibilities:. . Content Creation & Execution. . . Quickly and efficiently turn raw footage (lifestyle, talking head, UGC, testimonials, etc.) into scroll-stopping, thumb-catching performance video with titles, captions, and music. . Create variations for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Programmatic, and emerging platforms—using platform-specific best practices. . Build ad concepts that ladder up to strategic hooks, psychological angles, and customer pain points. . Cut multiple variants (lengths, openers, CTAs, hooks) from a single shoot or UGC source. . Rapidly A/B test hook and headline swaps, visual pacing, subtitles, music, and transitions. . Collaborate with the Growth team to interpret performance data and make creative decisions based on ROAS, CTR, hold rate, and thumb stop ratio. . Work directly with Creative Strategists to bring briefs and ideas to life. . Partner with Brand Creative to ensure visual alignment when needed, while maintaining performance as the #1 goal. . Work with Growth Media buyers to ensure creative delivery is optimized for media requirements. . Follow and contribute to SOPs around file naming, storage, versioning, delivery formats, and asset tagging. . Maintain a clean After Effects / Premiere workflow for team transparency. . Organize asset libraries (b-roll, overlays, founder footage, music, SFX, UGC banks). . . Social Media & Trend Integration. . . Stay up-to-date with social trends on TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, and apply these trends to help keep partners up to date.. . . SEO & Analytics. . . Ensure proper tagging, description, classification, and captioning of all video content.. . Optimize videos for SEO to drive traffic and track relevant analytics data to gauge the performance of each video/video series.. . . Industry Knowledge & Best Practices. . . Stay up-to-date with the latest video production trends and video marketing best practices.. . . Skills & Qualifications:. . . 4+ years of experience in Video Production, Digital Marketing, or a similar field. . A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Video Production, Telecommunications, or a similar field is a plus. . Exceptional attention to detail, superb prioritization and organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment. . Superior knowledge of video shooting and editing, and different filming styles and techniques. . Familiarity with using multimedia assets in digital marketing. . Expertise in video editing software, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve, and/or similar tools. .
