Power to Decide is seeking a bilingual Senior Manager, Editorial and Marketing to lead the creation of high-impact, mission-aligned content that strengthens our voice, broadens our reach, and deepens our impact. This role is ideal for a skilled communicator who combines exceptional writing and editing skills with strong digital marketing expertise and disciplined project management. From web copy and fundraising materials to blog posts and newsletters, the Senior Manager will help shape messaging that informs, persuades, and inspires action, while ensuring consistency across Power to Decide and its sub-brands. This role also manages and updates website content, working in our CMS and with our digital consultant to implement updates and improve user experience.. . . The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with teams across development, policy, and programs to support both internal and external communications. This includes helping craft clear, consistent messaging for a wide range of audiences, including staff, board, partners, health care providers, and our priority populations, and managing our editorial calendar to keep content flowing strategically and on schedule.. . . Serve as primary copyeditor across Power to Decide and its sub-brands, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand voice. . . . . Write and edit content across formats, including fundraising appeals, newsletters, annual reports, press materials, blogs, and digital copy, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice. . . . . Support the creation of original English and Spanish content for Bedsider and AbortionFinder, ensuring cultural resonance and linguistic accuracy; adapt and translate existing materials to align with the tone and needs of priority populations, enhancing accessibility and relevance.. . . . . Manage long-form content projects (e.g., annual reports, strategic plans) from concept through publication, including timelines, stakeholder coordination, and delivery. . . . . Work with the Senior Director, Content to support the editorial calendar and content workflows in Monday.com, and to help manage a network of content consultants and freelancers. . . . . Contribute to digital storytelling by supporting major campaigns (including Thanks, Birth Control), developing YouTube content (scripts, titles, descriptions, metadata), leading blog execution for PowerToDecide.org, and creating simple, on-brand visuals in Canva. . . . . Occasionally serve as on-screen talent for video content, if appropriate. . . . Digital Content Execution . and. Optimization. . . . Manage and update website content in Drupal and custom CMS platforms (Bedsider, AbortionFinder), ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and SEO. . . . . Lead email marketing strategy and execution in Mailchimp, using segmentation, automation, A/B testing, and analytics to improve engagement and conversions.. . . . . Conduct periodic audits of website content to ensure cultural relevancy, medical accuracy, and alignment with our messaging and style guides. . . . . Work closely with the social media team to repurpose editorial content for social media. . . . . Liaise with external digital agency for site maintenance and troubleshooting. . . . . Track content performance using Google Analytics and Matomo and apply insights to strengthen reach and engagement. . . . . Stay current on SEO and AI-driven optimization to improve discoverability. . . . . Monitor shared inboxes to ensure timely, brand-consistent responses. . . . Internal . and. External Communications. . . . Develop and refine talking points, key messages, and presentation materials for staff, leadership, board members, and partners. . . . . Support PowerPoint deck creation for board meetings, staff presentations, and public events. . . . . Copyedit and strengthen internal communications, including HR announcements, leadership updates, and team messages, to ensure accuracy and tone consistency. . . . . Support board materials (quarterly reports, strategic updates) with clear, compelling storytelling.. . . . Qualifications. . . . 5–7 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, and editorial work, ideally in a nonprofit, advocacy, or mission-driven setting. . . . . Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required. . . . . Experience in health education content creation, preferably within the sexual and reproductive health field. . . . . Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required, with proven ability to produce accessible, culturally resonant content in both languages. Must demonstrate skill in adaptation beyond direct translation, ensuring accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance for the diverse communities we serve. . . . . Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that includes digital, fundraising, social media, marketing, and long-form content. . . . . Skill in translating complex health and policy topics into clear, accessible messaging for diverse audiences, with flexibility to write in multiple voices while maintaining brand consistency. . . . . Advanced proficiency in Mailchimp, with demonstrated experience managing large-scale email campaigns, optimizing deliverability and engagement, and leveraging automation and segmentation tools. . . . . Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to use performance data to improve visibility and engagement; interest or experience in AI Optimization (AIO) is a plus. . . . . Proficiency with Drupal (or similar CMS), Google Analytics, Canva, and Monday.com. . . . . Familiarity with AP and/or Chicago style and experience maintaining an editorial style guide. . . . . Salary range is $93,500 - $106,500 and is commensurate with experience.
