Position Summary:. . We are looking for a . Retirement Plan. . Document Specialist. to join our Documents team. This role involves preparing and reviewing plan documents, amendments, notices, and forms, as well as handling plan terminations and maintaining electronic files. The Document Specialist will work closely with the team to ensure documents are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys detail-oriented work in a collaborative, professional environment.. . PLEASE NOTE: This is a fully remote position and can be performed from anywhere within the United States. We welcome candidates from all U.S. time zones; however, due to the primary locations of our team and clients, preference will be given to those in the Los Angeles area and able to work on a hybrid schedule.. . Key Responsibilities:. . . Prepare and organize plan-related documents, including signature pages, tax forms, and other required filings.. . Draft and process plan amendments, ensuring all copies are collated, distributed, and mailed to clients accurately and on time.. . Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and readiness before submission.. . Prepare and distribute compliance-related materials such as VCP submissions, participant loan paperwork, quarterly PPA statements, 404(a) notices, and Safe Harbor Notices.. . Track and manage plan terminations, including preparing termination documents, forms, and related correspondence.. . Draft client and internal correspondence related to plan documents and compliance requirements.. . Maintain accurate electronic records by creating, scanning, and saving files in Laserfiche and other document management systems.. . Collaborate with team members to support document-related processes and ensure deadlines are met.. . Other duties as assigned.. . . Minimum Qualifications:. . . Three or more years of administrative or document management experience; prior experience in financial services or retirement plan administration a plus.. . Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to format, edit, and prepare professional documents.. . Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.. . Ability to review and proofread documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.. . Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting correspondence and working with clients and colleagues.. . Comfortable managing confidential information with a high level of professionalism.. . Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative and dependable team member.. . Experience with electronic filing systems; familiarity with Laserfiche or other document management software preferred.. . Positive, professional demeanor with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.. . . Pay Transparency Statement:. . The anticipated pay range for this position is . $50,000-$54,000.  annually.. . At Strongpoint Partners, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications.
