As the Vendor & Procurement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in centralizing our vendor and supplier management functions. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in an asynchronous, fast-paced work environment.. . You will be responsible for driving procurement processes and building supplier relationships, using digital collaboration tools to create efficient, transparent, and cost-effective systems.. . Success in this role requires the ability to work independently across different time zones and to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently without letting things fall through the cracks.. . Key Responsibilities. . . Vendor Lifecycle Management:. manage vendors from internal stakeholder request through to procurement, negotiations, contract review, and renewal. More strategically, also plan, execute, and monitor the centralization of our vendor management function.. . Contract & Vendor Analysis:. identify and evaluate existing contracts, capturing vendor relationships in our systems to facilitate a comprehensive review and identify cost-saving opportunities.. . Process Implementation:. develop and roll out clear procurement processes and requirements and implement best practices.. . Asynchronous relationship building:. build and maintain relationships with suppliers across timezones, ensuring an optimal mix of sync and async working methods to maintain agility.. . Risk Mitigation:. identify, mitigate, and escalate procurement risks to enable the organization to meet its obligations and maximize business opportunities, documenting all steps and communications clearly.. . Drive Visibility and Transparency through effective stakeholder collaboration:. ensure all stakeholders are kept informed through clear, written updates in shared channels and documents.
