The work involves consolidating multiple toolsets, streamlining governance, and improving developer experience, all while maintaining secure, audit-ready operations. We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to support a hybrid role focused on both migration/security compliance and test automation. This position is critical to our Jira-to-GitHub migration effort, ensuring that pipelines, documentation, and automation processes are executed securely, accurately, and efficiently.. . Key Responsibilities. . . Migration & Compliance (50%). . . . Assist in the migration of workflows, pipelines, and functionality from Jira to GitHub.. . Develop and maintain security documentation to ensure compliance with organizational and federal standards.. . Validate completed migration work against requirements, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to policies.. . Maintain a detailed inventory of pipeline functionality to be migrated, tracking progress and reporting status.. . Support compliance validation and audit-readiness activities by ensuring all migration artifacts are traceable.. . . . Test Automation (50%) . . Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to validate migrated-. . Support continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines by developing automated validation checks.. . Work with engineering teams to identify gaps in test coverage and implement solutions.. . Document test results, issues, and remediation steps in alignment with compliance requirements.. . Contribute to improving automation frameworks and tooling to support repeatable, reliable testing.. . . . . Qualifications. . . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.. . 1–3 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or related technical role.. . Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, and cloud-native CI/CD pipelines.. . Basic understanding of security compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, ISO).. . Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash).. . Strong attention to detail with the ability to track and validate technical work.. .
