Position Overview:.  As a Recruiter at O'Brien Veterinary Group (OVG)/Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC), you will be pivotal in supporting the hiring needs of OVG clinics and EVCC hospitals.. . Your role involves actively engaging with the clinic team, management, and operations leaders to align recruitment activities with the operational goals and needs of our business. You will manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing to hiring, utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and various outreach strategies to build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.. . Job Type: . Remote (travel as needed). . Key Responsibilities:. . . Recruit for various positions in the Veterinary Industry.. . Collaborate regularly with clinic/hospital managers to understand the specific needs of each location.. . Work closely with operations leaders to understand and prioritize business needs.. . Oversee all job activities within Greenhouse ATS, including job creation, posting, candidate sourcing, candidate management, and hiring.. . Manage the process of sending offer letters and onboard new hires efficiently within Greenhouse.. . Source candidates through applications, job boards, cold calling, texting, email, and professional associations.. . Manage all external job postings effectively.. . Cultivate partnerships with local Veterinary Technician programs and attend relevant career fairs, events, and conferences.. . Assist with overseeing the Technician Externship and Apprenticeship Programs.. . Build and maintain a pipeline for credentialed and veterinary technicians.. . Provide support for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) hiring, as necessary.. . . Qualifications:. . . 2+ years in recruitment, ideally within the veterinary or healthcare sector.. . Familiarity with Greenhouse ATS or similar recruitment platforms.. . Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.. . Ability to analyze and interpret salary data to develop competitive compensation packages.. . Skills in researching and understanding the labor market trends, particularly for rural and veterinary industry roles.. . Strong negotiation skills to effectively balance candidate expectations and budget constraints.. . Willingness to travel to various events and locations as needed (estimated at 20%).. . Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing recruitment needs.. . Strong organizational skills to manage both daily activities and strategic planning for recruitment events and partnerships.. . .  . Skills and Attributes:. . . Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.. . Strong organizational and time-management skills.. . Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and candidate needs.. . A strong understanding of Microsoft Suite. . A deep understanding and passion for the veterinary sector is a plus.. . Knowledge of federal and state compensation laws to ensure compliance.. .
