This apprenticeship is designed for a detail-oriented individual looking to gain . hands-on . experience. in technical operations and supply chain logistics. As an apprentice, you will work under the mentorship of our Engineering team to learn how we deploy, track, and maintain physical hardware at scale. This is an excellent opportunity to see how technical requirements translate into physical infrastructure in a complex, remote environment.. . Responsibilities. . The Logistics Engineering Apprentice assists the "bridge" between our technical operations and the physical platforms we manage. You will participate in the full lifecycle of hardware management—from initial unboxing to final remote installation support.. . Key Learning & Support Areas:. . . Inventory & Procurement:. Assist in tracking hardware stock levels, unboxing shipments, and maintaining an organized inventory system.. . Deployment Preparation:. Learn our "plug and play" standards by assisting with detailed device labeling, cable management, and connection testing.. . Shipping & Logistics:. Coordinate the outbound shipping of hardware to facility partners and track incoming returns or repairs.. . Documentation:. Help update and expand our catalog of "runbooks" —the simple, clear guides that allow remote partners to install hardware with zero technical training.. . Process Improvement:. Participate in team meetings to identify "friction points" in our ticketing system and suggest ways to make our workflows more efficient.. . Remote Support:. Assist engineers in troubleshooting physical installation issues with facility partners via remote communication tools.. . . Qualifications. . Education & Experience:. A demonstrated interest in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or Computer Science. This can be shown through current enrollment in a degree program, completion of a certificate or bootcamp, or self-directed projects and hands-on experience. . A formal degree is not required.. . Technical Curiosity:. A fundamental understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and how devices connect to networks.. . Communication:. A desire to develop professional verbal and written communication skills, especially in translating technical concepts into simple instructions.. . Detail-Oriented:. Ability to follow complex labeling and organization schemes where accuracy is critical.. . Physical Requirement:.
