You are the architect of our internal tech ecosystem. As our IT Administrator based in San Jose, you don’t just keep the lights on—you build systems that scale. You design automation. You harden our identity perimeter. You eliminate friction so our teams can win. We’re growing fast. You’ll help us move faster—securely, intelligently, and with AI woven into how we operate every day.  . . What You’ll Do:.  . . . Own our identity stack—Okta and Google Workspace—and design a secure, seamless access experience across the company.. . Architect automated joiner, mover, and leaver workflows that provision and deprovision access in minutes—not days.. . Build and manage AI-powered workflows using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, n8n, or Zapier to eliminate repetitive IT tasks.. . Oversee Zendesk as a product—not just a ticket queue—designing automation, routing logic, and self-service systems that reduce manual work.. . Partner with our Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and hold them accountable to OfficeSpace standards.. . Drive endpoint health and compliance across macOS (JAMF) and Windows (Intune / Endpoint Manager).. . Audit and optimize SaaS usage—Slack, Zoom, Okta, and more—to reduce waste and improve security.. . Lead hardware procurement, inventory strategy, and asset lifecycle management across the US, Canada, and Costa Rica.. . Collaborate with InfoSec to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen our security posture.. . Maintain clear, source-of-truth documentation for systems, automations, and processes.. . Support local infrastructure at our San Jose office (network, routers, switches, wireless) 1–2 days per week onsite.. . Contribute technical leadership to cross-functional company initiatives..  . . .  . . What You Bring:.  . . . 5+ years of experience in IT Administration or similar hands-on roles.. . Deep expertise in Okta and Google Workspace identity governance.. . Strong working knowledge of JAMF and Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.. . Proven experience managing Zendesk as a system—not just resolving tickets.. . Experience building automations in n8n, Zapier, or similar workflow tools.. . Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to design, test, and deploy productivity-enhancing workflows.. . Strong vendor management and accountability skills.. . High ownership mindset—you don’t wait for instructions. You build solutions.. . Strong documentation discipline and process thinking.. .
