Opportunity Education is seeking a part-time Product Designer to help shape the experience of our applications used by educators and students in the United States and Tanzania.. . This role focuses on designing high-quality product experiences across our core applications, while also supporting key user touchpoints such as onboarding flows and lifecycle emails that drive engagement and retention.. . This role is for a consultant available up to 20 hours per week. This role is fully remote, with preference for candidates based in Denver. . . Responsibilities. . The Designer is responsible for the following activities and outcomes: . . . Design user interfaces and responsive layouts for web apps and mobile apps used by educators and students.. . Design onboarding and lifecycle experiences, including email campaigns and key touchpoints, that drive user activation, engagement, and retention.. . Define user experiences and flows that make our applications intuitive, useful, and efficient in real classroom settings.. . Ground all design work in a clear understanding of user intentions and the problems we are solving.. . Define the user experiences and flows needed to make OE’s apps fun, helpful, and easy to use. . . Write and refine clear, concise headings, instructions, and supporting UI text throughout the product and related communications.. . Use Figma to deliver complete, high-quality design assets and documentation for engineering.. . Serve as a thought partner to other product team members, thoughtfully reviewing and giving feedback on scopes, designs, and other deliverables. . . Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.. . Independently manage design timelines and maintain pace with a fast-moving team.. . . Required. : . . . 4+ years of experience leading UI/UX design for an app or web tool. . A portfolio of design work that includes mobile and web apps. . Experience designing end-to-end user flows, not just screens. . Excellent with Figma . . Proficient with Jira and other collaboration tools . . Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment . . . Preferred: . . . Experience designing onboarding, lifecycle, or growth-related user experiences (e.g., emails, activation flows). . Based in or near the Denver area. . . About Opportunity Education. .
