While the primary focus of this role is on intellectual property and technology transactions, the scope of this position may also extend to general corporate, employment, litigation, and other legal matters as needed.. This individual will become part of a small, highly skilled team. of lawyers. responsible for a wide range of commercial contracts, negotiating on behalf of . Arcesium. in both customer and vendor relationships. , and will be only the second attorney in . Arcesium’s. U.S. Legal & Compliance group. . This role can be based remotely within the United States.. . Responsibilities. . . Draft, review, and negotiate customer. and vendor. agreements. . . Handle various technology, purchase, service, and consulting agreements. . . Review RFPs and DDQs (due diligence questionnaires) . as primary . representative. of the Legal team. . . Serve as the internal point of contact for outside counsel handling NDAs, fielding questions as they arise. . . Advise . business team members . within the . company. on intellectual property matters and other legal issues, including issues related to generative artificial intelligence. . . Support general corporate, employment, and litigation matters as they arise, reflecting the team’s broader scope of responsibility. . . . Qualifications. . . A law degree, an impressive record of academic achievement, and at least 3-5 years of experience in-house and/or at a law firm. . . Experience should include reviewing and negotiating licensing, technology, and other commercial contracts . (on behalf. . of. both customer. s. and vendor. ). as well as advising clients on intellectual property issues and contract interpretation. more generally. . . Prior experience with issues relating to open-source software and/or generative artificial intelligence is a plus, but not . required. . . Comfortable juggling competing priorities and working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. . . Excellent analytical abilities, outstanding judgment, keen attention to detail, an impressive work ethic, and proven drafting, communication, and organizational skills. . . . The expected annual base salary for this position is $170,000.00 - $200,000.00.
