ClickHouse is seeking an Office Manager for our Amsterdam office. Amsterdam serves as our European Product & Engineering and Go-to-Market hub and has ~50 employees. The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the office, ensuring the work environment remains organized, functional, and supportive of the team. This includes maintaining office supplies, coordinating meetings, managing communication, and ensuring that all logistical aspects of the office are handled effectively. Additionally, this individual will assist with some basic HR and administrative tasks. . . Please note, this position will require you to be in the office in Amsterdam full time (5 days a week, full working hours). . What you will do:. . Office Operations Management:. . . Ensure the office is fully stocked with necessary supplies, including office materials and kitchen items.. . Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the office, including coordinating with cleaning services.. . Manage office equipment, including ensuring it is operational and coordinating repairs or replacements when needed.. . Stock and organize the office refrigerator and kitchen supplies to ensure an enjoyable and well-stocked environment for the team.. . Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery, sorting, and proper distribution.. . Organize and maintain office files and systems, both physical and digital.. . Assist with office layout and ensure the office remains conducive to productivity and collaboration.. . . Customer and Visitor Coordination:. . . Schedule and manage customer meetings and events in the conference room, ensuring necessary equipment is prepared and the space is properly arranged.. . Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly office atmosphere.. . . IT Support and Ordering:. . . Assist with ordering and managing office technology (e.g., computers, phones, accessories) in coordination with the IT department.. . Serve as a liaison between employees and IT to handle basic office tech issues or escalate as needed.. . . Vendor and Contractor Liaison:. . . Coordinate with external vendors for office maintenance, cleaning, deliveries, and other services as needed.. . Manage contracts and communicate with service providers to ensure smooth operations.. . . Executive Assistant:. . . Support local events in the office.. . Expense and travel management.. . Manage calendars, meetings.. . . Human Resources:. . . Welcome new hires to the Amsterdam office and facilitate office orientation.. . Assist with light local HR administration tasks such as onboarding forms and absence processes. . . . What you bring:. . . 2+ years proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative role.. . Fluency in both Dutch and English.. . Strong organizational and multitasking skills.. . Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.. . Proficiency in Google Suite. . Ability to work independently and as part of a team.. . Positive, proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail.. . Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.. . Experience with basic IT troubleshooting is a plus.. .
