Provide technical support for the Nextgen EHR platform, including triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues. . Collaborate with clinical and operations staff to understand workflows and translate requirements into system configurations.. . Develop and maintain documentation for Nextgen EHR processes and configurations.. . Implement and manage system updates, patches, and upgrades for the Nextgen EHR platform.. . Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for optimization. . Enforce security policies and best practices within the Nextgen EHR environment.. . Provide general IT support, including hardware and software troubleshooting. . Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed.. . . Qualifications:. . Required (Education/Experience/Competencies):. . . Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.. . 5+ years of experience in systems administration or IT support.. . 3+ years of experience working with the Nextgen EHR platform.. . Strong understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure and security standards (HIPAA).. . Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.. . Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.. . Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.. . . Preferred (Education/Experiences/Competencies):. . . Nextgen Certified Professional or similar Nextgen certification.. . Experience with database management and SQL.. . Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).. . Familiarity with network protocols and security.. . Experience with IT project management methodologies.. . . Licenses:. . . Nextgen Certified Professional or similar Nextgen certification.. . . Fair work deserves fair wages. At Valera, we value this role at between $100,000-$120,000/year with the potential for an annual performance bonus.. .  . .
