The Senior Accountant, FP&A will report to the CFO and is responsible for assisting with the monthly general ledger close, balance sheet and income statement analysis, commissions, Accounts Payable, and other projects as assigned.. . Duties/Responsibilities. . Accounting:. . . General Ledger Management: Maintaining the company's core accounting records. . . Financial Reporting: Preparing and distributing financial reports to stakeholders. . . Account Reconciliation: Ensuring accuracy of financial data by reconciling accounts. . . Compliance: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations. . . Month-end and Year-end Close: Preparing financial information for reporting periods.. . . FP&A:. . . Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing financial plans and forecasts for the company's future performance. . . Financial Modeling: Creating models to simulate different scenarios and their financial impact. . . Performance Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. . . Variance Analysis: Investigating differences between actual and planned results. . . Strategic Planning: Working with management to develop long-term strategic plans. . . Business Partnering: Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and support. . . . Required Skills/Abilities. . . Must have solid GL understanding (debits, credits, reconciliations, financial reporting, etc.). . Experienced with Enterprise Accounting Software, preferably NetSuite.. . Expert with Excel and custom reporting systems.. . Excellent mathematical and computational skills.. . Highly detail-oriented and organized in work.. . Ability to think critically and offer opinions on process improvements.. . Ability to work independently and meet assigned deadlines.. . Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.. . . Education and Experience. . . Bachelor’s degree (Accounting major preferred). . 3-5 years of Accounting experience. . .
