The IT Systems Support position provides a critical role by ensuring smooth operations for all the Company. This includes, but is not limited to, providing local and remote Technical Support Services to end users. The position will manage service request and incident processing for end-user issues. This is an on-site position, working in our office in San Mateo.. . The hourly salary range for this position is $40 - $47 per hour..  . . Responsibilities And Duties. . . Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring minimal disruption to their work.. . Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and IT assets.. . Support AV and conference room technology setup and troubleshooting.. . Implement and maintain security protocols to protect IT assets and data integrity.. . Help keep users and company resources in line with company policies and industry best practices. . Organize and maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets.. . Support AV and conference room technology setup and troubleshooting.. . Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. . Assist with basic networking tasks such as port patching and troubleshooting network connectivity.. . User onboarding and offboarding. . Order and install computer peripherals for users. . Schedule upgrades and maintenance as needed.. . Transport IT/Facilities equipment between buildings.. . Assist with facilities tasks as needed. . Train end users. . . Requirements. . . Minimum 4 years' experience in IT technical support and administration for Windows and MacOS.. . Diagnostic and problem-solving skills. . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.. . Highly self-sufficient with the ability to manage tasks and solve problems independently.. . Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.. . Proficiency in using asset management software and tools.. . Ability to work independently and as part of a team.. . In-depth understanding of Windows and MacOS operating systems. . Experience with the Administration of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. . Good understanding of data security, privacy, and principles.. . Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or similar are a plus.. . Familiarity with Linux is a plus.. . Must be able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs and set up desks, ensuring all equipment is properly installed and operational for new hires.. . .
