As a Mid-Level Systems Engineer, you’ll apply a multi-disciplinary systems engineering approach to deliver timely, accurate Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and U.S. Federal Agencies. You’ll help translate complex mission needs into scalable, resilient technical solutions that directly support national security objectives..  . . What You’ll Do.  . . Lead and support systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, including requirements development, solution design, integration, testing, evaluation, reliability, resiliency, and maintainability..  . . Analyze and translate user and mission requirements into system and capability requirements, ensuring full traceability from architecture to implementation..  . . Design and evaluate system architectures, workflows, and cloud service capabilities, identifying opportunities to automate or improve existing systems..  . . Develop technical solutions leveraging emerging technologies, while mentoring junior engineers and helping grow their systems engineering skillsets..  . . Support government stakeholders with systems integration, execution planning, and architecture allocation across programs..  . . Contribute to Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), trade studies, and engineering assessments to inform technical and programmatic decisions..  . . Assist with strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design..  . . Why This Role.  . . Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related STEM discipline, including Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field..  . . -OR- 6 years' of equivalent mid-level Systems Engineering experience may be considered in lieu of a degree..  . . TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly..  . . Minimum of 6 years' of Mid-level Systems Engineering experience in government or industry..  . . Experience supporting large, complex systems, including System-of-Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and/or cloud-based environments..  . . Working experience with one or more of the following government processes:.  . . DoD / Intelligence Community (IC) acquisition processes.  . . Requirements development and management processes.  . . Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES).  . . Core Skills.  . . Requirements analysis and traceability across the systems engineering lifecycle..  . .
