Position Overview. . The SVP, Operations is responsible for end-to-end performance of the company’s cryptocurrency mining fleet across multiple sites in the United States. This leader . owns uptime. . and operational excellence, driving efficiency and return on deployed capital. In addition, this individual will be responsible for our in-house repair center, based in Rochester.. . This role requires a highly analytical, data-driven operator who builds and manages through metrics. The SVP develops and implements clear KPIs for site leaders, mining technicians, repair technicians, including network operations, establishes rigorous performance management processes, and holds teams accountable to measurable operational and financial standards.. . They leverage real-time operational data to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that optimize uptime, reliability, and cost performance across the fleet.. . The ideal candidate combines deep industrial operational expertise with strong technical fluency in mining infrastructure, high-density power systems, networking, and hardware performance. They are strategic in scope and hands-on in execution.. . This person will be responsible for building scalable systems, processes, and reporting frameworks that support growth across multiple energized sites across the US.. . Full accountability for fleet-wide uptime, performance metrics, and operating efficiency across all sites, supported by consistent field presence.. . Ownership of in-house repair center performance, including throughput, turnaround time, parts utilization and cost optimization.. . Establish structured escalation and crisis response protocols for major downtime events.. . Design and implement KPI frameworks, productivity benchmarks, and standardized scorecards across operations, repair, and network teams, with regular executive-level reporting to senior leadership and the Board.. . The SVP, Operations is expected to maintain a strong physical presence in the field, with a minimum of 60% travel required to our mining facilities.. . Our mining environments are industrial by nature. Sites often operate out of modular data centers, containers, or trailers located in high-density power environments. Conditions may include elevated noise levels, heat exposure, and outdoor elements depending on site configuration.. . This is . not. a corporate-only leadership role. The role requires consistent time on-site to assess performance firsthand, engage directly with technicians and site leadership, and ensure standards are being executed in practice, not just on paper.. . The successful candidate must be comfortable operating in standard cryptocurrency mining conditions, including walking sites regularly, entering energized facilities in compliance with safety protocols, and observing live operational environments.
