The Toronto Blue Jays are seeking a . MiLB . Performance Chef. to fulfill an opening within our minor league system with the Vancouver Canadians. As a Toronto Blue Jays Minor League Performance Chef, you will be located in Vancouver, British Columbia, from June 2026 through October 2026. In this role, you will work closely with the affiliate dietitian to develop menus that fit the performance and cultural needs of our baseball players.. .  . . **PLEASE NOTE- This Performance Chef role will be an employee of the Toronto Blue Jays organization**. .  . . What You’ll Do:. . . Work with Registered Dietitians to build meals that fit within the guidelines of TBJ nutrition. . Prepare and deliver both pregame and postgame meals for all homestands. . Operate and maintain a remote kitchen space where all meals will be prepared. . Deliver prepared meals twice daily for each home game of the season. . Maintain purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards. . Understand individualized player needs for food allergies, periodization, portions, and specialized diets. . Adaptable to player needs and schedule changes with a relentless service-minded approach. . Communicate daily with dietitians, affiliate staff, players, and corresponding team members to ensure meals are meeting expectations. . Documentation of menus, receipts, and vendors. . Facilitate a system for gathering reliable feedback on menu design and quality. . Ability to control food waste and identify opportunities for food cost improvement. . .  . . What We’re Looking For:. . . 2+ years of experience working in foodservice. . Culinary degree. . ServSafe Food Manager Certification or FoodSafe Level 1. . Valid drivers license in British Columbia. . Highly motivated and excellent problem solver. . Ability to cook authentic meals from Latin American cultures. . Receptive to feedback. . Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and in writing. . The ability to work a non-standard work-week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. . Strong attention to detail, especially with the presentation of food and meal delivery times. . Ability to work within multicultural populations and create menus inclusive of the needs of their respective backgrounds. . Ability to travel to the United States for the purposes of training. . Ability to drive a vehicle between the kitchen space and the stadium, about a 15-minute trip. . Ability to pass a background check. . Ability to lift up to 22 kg. . .  . . Preferred Skills:. . . Bilingual English and Spanish preferred . . Experience working within professional and/or collegiate athletics . . Basic understanding of the sport and culture of baseball. . .  . .
