This is a new biotech startup developing an innovative treatment that targets the root cause of cancer relapse and spread. This root cause is a small group of cells called cancer stem cells, which often survive traditional treatments and cause tumors to return or grow in new parts of the body.. . Our lead therapy is a next-generation drug designed to find and eliminate these cancer stem cells using a natural targeting approach. This method has shown promising results in early lab studies in ovarian, gastric, and colorectal cancers. The team is now preparing for the next phase of development to move the treatment closer to testing in patients.. . As Junior Project Manager, you will support the start-up’s operational core during its most formative phase. You will work directly with the CEO and CSO to keep the company on track as it advances toward key development milestones. From managing timelines to helping coordinate partnerships, your work will directly influence how the company moves forward.. . Key Responsibilities. . Project Coordination and Execution. . . Build and maintain detailed project timelines and workflows. . Track milestones and deliverables across research, regulatory, and business functions. . Prepare updates and summary reports for leadership and investors. . . Communication and Organization. . . Schedule and support internal and external meetings, ensuring clarity of outcomes and follow-ups. . Maintain organized records of key documents, project materials, and communications. . Coordinate with CROs, CDMOs, and other partners to support program execution. . . Operational Support. . . Assist with regulatory submissions, grant applications, and budgeting. . Help prepare materials for board updates, investor outreach, and conferences. . Monitor progress toward IND readiness and help ensure alignment across teams. . . Requirements. . Must-Have Qualifications. . . Based in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands. . At least 2 years of experience in project management or operations, ideally in biotech, pharma, or a research-driven environment. . Strong organizational skills and fluency with project management tools. . Clear communication style, with the ability to distill complex information and coordinate across functions. . A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, unstructured settings and can work independently when needed. . . Nice to Have. . . Experience supporting drug development programs, especially preclinical or IND-stage. . Exposure to working with CROs, CDMOs, or regulatory consultants. .
