
Junior Video Editor at Topstep. . Location: United States. Summary . . We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our growing creative team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling through video, a strong visual sense, and the technical skills to bring ideas to life in post-production. You’ll support the editing and production of a wide range of video content, including marketing campaigns, social media content, tutorials, and branded content.. . Key Responsibilities . . . Assist in editing short-form and long-form video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, social media, websites, etc.). . Organize and manage video footage, ensuring assets are stored and labeled correctly. . Work closely with designers, editors, and creative leads to understand project goals and execute on vision. . Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, and sound where needed to enhance storytelling. . Ensure all edits adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style and tone. . Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute to video concept development. . Stay current with editing trends, software updates, and video best practices. . . Required Qualifications and Key Competencies. . . 1–2 years of experience in video editing . . Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects (knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus). . Basic understanding of color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics. . Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take feedback and learn. . Excellent time management and organizational skills. . Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. . A portfolio or reel showcasing video editing work. . Familiarity with video content strategies for digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). . Knowledge of visual storytelling and pacing. .
