This will be a highly visible role supporting Twilio’s Messaging channel, including partnering with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive financial performance. This role will work cross-functionally with R&D business partners, central Finance teams and Accounting.. .  . . Responsibilities. . In this role, you’ll:. . . Partner with the Product leadership teams to analyze complex business decisions, provide sound financial perspectives and actionable insights. . . Lead strategic financial planning processes from start to finish for the Messaging business. This includes managing monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-term forecasts.. . Build, maintain, and improve financial models to analyze product performance, evaluate new initiatives, and support investment decisions.. . Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners in a clear and compelling manner.. . Take ownership of month-end close activities, including preparing COGS and OPEX accruals, partnering with Accounting to ensure accurate COGS and OPEX recognition, and performing detailed variance analysis.. . Partner with analytics team to automate reporting processes. . . Qualifications . . Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience. . 5+ years of finance experience, ideally in a high growth Technology or Software/SaaS environment.. . Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills, with experience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis. . Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. . Ability to work independently and think strategically. . Intense curiosity about understanding key drivers of a multi-faceted business.. . Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Cross-functional relationships and effective communication to non-financial audiences are critical to make an impact.. . Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills. . . Desired:. . . Experience working cross functionally with partners in R&D organizations. . Experience with Anaplan, Oracle, Tableau a plus. . . Location. . This role will be remote, and based in Canada.. .
