We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Pricing team, which is responsible for delivering optimal price strategies across every hotel, flight, and rental car sold on the Engine platform. This backend-focused team plays a critical role in balancing company revenue, member savings, and market competitiveness, partnering closely with product and data to power high-impact pricing decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, experience building complex backend systems, and a data-driven mindset. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:. . Experience: 5+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a management role. Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.. . . Skills: . Strong leadership and team-building abilities with a focus on driving performance and results. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.. . Tech-Savvy: . Strong technical foundation with expertise in at least one of TypeScript/Node.js, Java/Kotlin, or Ruby on Rails, plus experience working with AWS and Datadog.. Education: . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).. Mindset: . Deep understanding of agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience, expertise, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE).
