The Opportunity. . Reporting to the Regional Manager for EMEA, the Destination Manager, Portugal will be responsible for ensuring Viator’s product catalog is optimized to unlock and satisfy customer demand, with products that are competitively priced, have robust availability, optimal connectivity and high-quality standards that consistently surpass customer expectations.. . In this role you will be deeply embedded in the local operator and travel community, and understand the trends, challenges and opportunities for growth. You will collaborate with internal teams to align on new product offerings in Portugal to maintain and grow our competitive advantage in this market.. . The Role. . As a Destination Manager, you will:. . . . Ensure that Viator has the highest quality product offering in the market. . . . Strategically acquire new inventory to fill product gaps, and highlight new and exciting products in your destination . . . . Establish, maintain, and grow key supplier relationships in order to ensure Viator as the preferred OTA. . . . Negotiate favourable commercial terms and preferential benefits from operators. . . . Monitor key metrics and take corrective action where necessary.  . . . . Your Experience, skills and attributes. . . . Entrepreneurial, commercially driven professionall, able to grow your destination as if it were your own business. . . . Proven success negotiating preferred commercials, and maintaining/growing strong relationships with customers and partners. . . . Creative, curious mindset that fosters continuous self-improvement. . . . Deep understanding of the travel landscape in Lisbon and Porto in particular. Prior experience in the travel activities and marketplace spaces a plus.. . . . 5-7 years of experience, 3+ in strategic account management. . . . Native Portuguese speaker. . . .
