Senior Specialty Pharmacy Manager of PBM Navigation. is a key leader within Rightway’s PBM Clinical Operations team. This role leads a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians dedicated to guiding members through the complexity of their specialty pharmacy journey. From access and affordability to ongoing adherence, this leader ensures members receive the right medication through the most cost-effective and clinically appropriate channel.. . Specialty pharmacy is the fastest-growing driver of drug spend, and this role plays a central part in helping clients manage costs while improving the specialty care experience for members.. . WHAT YOU’LL DO:. . . Lead and develop a team of pharmacists and technicians focused on high-touch specialty navigation, adherence support, and affordability solutions. . Provide supervision, training, monitoring, and mentoring to ensure consistent, high-quality member interactions. . Partner with clinical and operations leadership to optimize specialty workflows (e.g., site of care redirection, financial assistance enrollment, specialty pharmacy channel optimization). . Oversee the delivery of concierge-level service, ensuring members with complex specialty needs receive tailored guidance and proactive support. . Implement and monitor member-facing initiatives that drive cost savings for clients and lower out-of-pocket costs for members. . Lead team training sessions designed to improve clinical engagement, strengthen member trust, and drive high Net Promoter Scores (NPS). . Collaborate with internal teams (Clinical, Technology, Account Management) to continuously improve specialty navigation tools, processes, and reporting. . Support interviewing and hiring for team growth, ensuring strong alignment with Rightway’s mission and specialty expertise. . . WHO YOU ARE:. . . Education:. Pharmacy degree required; PharmD preferred. . Experience:. . . 5+ years of managed care experience (PBM, health plan, or specialty pharmacy) with strong background in specialty pharmacy services, utilization management, or related clinical fields. . 1–3+ years of leadership experience managing teams of pharmacists and technicians. . . Licensure:. Pharmacist license in good standing in state of residence, with willingness to obtain and maintain multistate licensure as needed. . Availability:. Able to work 40 hours/week. Core hours are weekdays from 8 am ET to 11 pm ET, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities as the program scales. . Skills & Characteristics:. . . Deep knowledge of specialty pharmacy and pharmacy benefit management. . Strong problem-solving ability and comfort navigating complex, high-cost therapies. . Effective communicator with proven ability to influence across teams and stakeholders. . Detail-oriented, empathetic, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional member experiences. . . . EXTRA CREDIT:. . . Prior experience building or scaling specialty pharmacy programs in PBM, payer, or provider settings. . Start-up or high-growth environment experience. . Familiarity with specialty care technologies (workflow management tools, member navigation apps, patient assistance portals, etc.). . . BASE SALARY: $130,000-$140,000. .
