Senior D. ata Engineer. . is responsible for. . the design, implementation, and continuous operation of Lirio’s data platform. .. The . Senior . Data Engineer ensures that data from internal and external sources is collected, transformed, and presented in a usable form to the various data consumers within the organization.. . The Senior Data Engineer assures the . execution of the data platform and processes, including mon. itoring, proactively . identifying. issues, troubleshooting and . timely. implementation of corrections or improvements. .  . The Senior Data Engineer collaborates . with the broader technology team to . engineer new data models, . systems. and workflows. .  . The Senior Data Engineer provides subject matter . expertise. across the organization. . . . Essential Duties & Responsibilities. . Client Solutions (30%).  . . . Communicate with current and future clients to assess data needs and requirements.  . . . . Assist with onboarding and implementation of client data management solutions.  . . . . Adhere to operational processes and playbooks for client facing activities such as onboarding and change implementation.  . . . . Serve as a trusted problem solver for client-facing data challenges, escalating and resolving issues efficiently.  . . . . Maintain data governance and security/privacy standards when working with sensitive client data.  . . .  . . Feature Implementation (20%).  . . . Design and implement new features, tools, capabilities, and improvements within the data platform to facilitate and scale data operations across the organization..  . . . . Troubleshoot and resolve defects or unexpected behavior in new features to ensure stable delivery..  . . . Process Improvement (20%).  . . . Identify, propose, and implement solutions across the data platform to ensure that continuing operations are scalable and reliable.  . . . . Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve systemic issues across workflows..  . . . Monitoring (10%).  . . . Monitor the various automated and semi-automated jobs for failures.  . . . . Offer resolution suggestions and implement permanent fixes for the underlying causes of errors.  . . .  . . Technical Leadership (20%).  . . . Understand all aspects of our data platform and provide expertise and guidance across our organization to colleagues, clients, and partners.  . . . . Act as a key escalation point for troubleshooting technical problems, guiding others through issue resolution and best practices in problem solving .  . . . . Evaluate the applicability of new platforms and technologies to Lirio’s data platform in support of the company’s business model.  . . . . Provide guidance and direction around emerging technologies, requirements, and features across the organization.  . . . . Collaborate extensively with other teams to ensure the delivery of accurate, high quality data products and capabilities.  . . . Other.  . . . Perform other duties as assigned. . . Qualifications. . . Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required. . Master's Degree in . Business Analytics, Business Administration, or similar . preferred. . 5-7 years of related work experience. . Demonstrated experience in software engineering or data engineering . . Prior experience in health tech preferable . . Highly proficient with Python and SQL and object oriented programming. . Familiar with UNIX or Linux systems and the command line. . Knowledge of toolchains for development such as Git, Gradle, Docker, etc.. . Understanding of batch and stream processing. . Familiar with cloud platforms. . Familiar with our tech stack (Snowflake, Airflow, Kafka, Kubernetes, etc.). . Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity. . Creative, dynamic, adaptable, and independent. .
