We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and business-minded Deputy General Counsel, Commercial to lead and scale the commercial legal function at Maven Clinic. This is a critical leadership role for an exceptional attorney excited to enable Maven’s rapid growth while building streamlined, scalable legal systems.. . You’ll oversee legal support across all contracting including our go-to-market engine, payer and enterprise customer contracting, vendor procurement, and strategic partnerships. We’re looking for you to bring:. . . 12+ years of legal experience, with at least 5+ years in-house and a strong focus on commercial transactions. . Expertise in negotiating and managing a range of agreements in healthcare related business, including payer and customer agreement, vendor procurement, provider network agreement, and administrative agreement . . Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships with executives, operators, and technical teams. . Experience building legal infrastructure and scaling commercial legal support in high-growth environments. . A practical and collaborative approach to solving legal challenges—balancing risk with business outcomes. . Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complexity for non-legal stakeholders. . Proven track record of mentoring and developing junior attorneys and legal staff. . Previous experience with health plans, digital health, enterprise healthcare or related experience is required. . Familiarity with legal operations tools (e.g., Ironclad, contract lifecycle management systems) is a plus. . . . . The base salary range for this role is $265,000 - $305,000 per year.
