Platform Engineer . you will focus on creating and maintaining reusable services, components and tools for application delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will be dedicated to improving the developer experience by enabling the engineering team in their efforts to deploy scalable solutions quickly and efficiently. Our ideal candidate is a skilled full stack engineer with prior experience working on platform engineering solutions.. . What You’ll Do. . . Work on existing systems that allow our engineers to deliver features efficiently, quickly, and reliably . . Create internal tools to accommodate org-specific workflows, enforce security policies, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. . Build, maintain and document custom APIs, CLIs, and web UIs that expose the platform’s functionality and reliability . . Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of internal toolchains by identifying bugs and solving problems. . Collaborate with software developers, infrastructure engineers, and other stakeholders on cross-functional teams. . Work in a fast-paced environment where we are frequently iterating to support the needs of our product engineers by enhancing our internal apps and processes. . Plan and execute on short-term and long-term engineering goals individually and within the greater technology team. . Apply experience and knowledge of industry best practices to support and continuously improve the performance, efficiency, and maintainability of existing applications. . . What You Bring. . . Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. . 4+ years experience as a full stack developer or similar role. . 1+ year experience working on platform engineering solutions . . Experience with Cloud Services – (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud). . Experience with Version Control Systems (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket). . Experience with Containerization (e.g. Docker, Podman). . Extensive experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD. . Monitoring (e.g. New Relic, Sumo Logic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana). . Experience designing client-side and server-side architecture. . Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, TypeScript). . Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Go, Ruby, C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js). . Be able to write and analyze complex SQL queries. . . Bonus. . .
