Support the month-end closing process ensuring accuracy of activity recorded in the general ledger via timely preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.. . Investigate and resolve internal and external inquiries regarding account statuses and discrepancies.. . Perform variance/cost analysis and participate in financial analysis. . Ensure precise coding using historical data, budgets, and other relevant sources to maintain accurate general ledger entries.. . Maintain organized and completed documentation in compliance with company policy.. . Maintain financial security by adhering internal controls and established company policies.. . Assist in the coordination of annual financial audits.. . Perform other duties, special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.. . .  . . Requirements:. . . Bachelor's degree in accounting required.. . Solid understanding of accounts payable/general ledger systems, financial charts of accounts, and corporate accounting procedures.. . Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and a results-driven mindset.. . Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.. . Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.. . High attention to detail and accuracy.. . Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.. .
