Software Engineer II, Applications. .  The Software Engineer works on a wide and diverse range of projects including desktop and mobile music creation and host applications, plug-ins and virtual instruments. Familiarity with music technology hard and software will ensure that the Software Developer understands the technical requirements and challenges of our products and solutions.. .  . Essential Functions: . . . Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar education. . Several years of working experience in application software development. . Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code within an established architecture, following defined coding standards. . Excellent object-oriented C++ programming skills. . Experience developing with a cross-platform software framework. . Experience implementing connections to remote server and cloud APIs. . Proficiency with software development tools (Visual Studio, Xcode, Git, CMake, Jira / Confluence). . Fluent German and English language skills. . Good communication skills. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. . Ability to work alone and as part of a team. . Excellent time, task and resource organisation skills. . Willing to take responsibility and be the driving force of a project. . .  . . Desirable Qualities:. . . Familiarity with a cross-platform software framework such as Qt or JUCE. .
