Accurately procuring materials based on demand plan to support current and new opportunities. . . . Becoming well-versed in the ordering system to ensure we never run out of stock, quickly replace stock, and/or effectively communicate with all affected teams on inventory status. . . . Cultivating relationships with internal and external teams and vendors. . . . Working with suppliers to negotiate best pricing for quality material to meet budget goals. . . . Performing new product research and new vendor sourcing. . . . Evaluating commodity pricing and exchange rates to compare with current purchase pricing. . . . Understanding items being purchased and the quality expected for each category. . . . . . . . What do we value in this role?. . . . . Two-year degree in related field.. . . 1-2 years of experience in an inventory, procurement or buyer role, or fasteners industry. . . . Adaptable to our ERP system. . . .
