The Associate Accountant will support the month end close process, vendor and expense management, and compliance activities, while contributing to continuous improvements in overall accounting operations.. . . Salary Range. : Base salary annually, commensurate with experience . . . . Associate level: $60,000 - $85,000 . . . . Location:. This position is remote, based in the U.S., with travel for events and occasional in-person company gatherings . . . . Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we currently do not sponsor immigration visas. . . . . Responsibilities. . . . Participate in month end closing activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.. . . Assist in managing vendor payment cycles, including invoice processing, approval workflows, and vendor communications.. . . Support the expense reimbursement process and provide basic system administration support for expense platforms.. . . Help administer the corporate purchasing card program, ensuring compliance with company policies.. . . Contribute to corporate and sales tax compliance reporting by preparing schedules and supporting filings.. . . Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements. . and related reporting packages.. . . Prepare schedules and documentation to support annual audits and other compliance reviews.. . . Perform ad hoc accounting projects and duties as assigned by leadership.. . . . Requirements. . . . Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field . . . 1–3 years of accounting experience . . . Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) . . . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting or ERP systems preferred.. . . Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.. . . Effective written and verbal communication skills.. . . Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a fast-paced environment.. . .
