Fleet Manager (contract) at Via. . Location: Remote US. As a Fleet Manager on Via’s Operations team, you’ll be responsible for managing fleet operations using our innovative technology platform and purpose-built tools. You’ll manage day-to-day fleet operations and own the condition of the fleet while continuously driving efficiency in our operations.. . This will be a remote, fixed-term, contract position. Must be able to start immediately . . What You'll Do:. . . Ensure Via’s partners’ fleets are maintained in excellent condition, owning fleet operations for a portfolio of Via services . . Proactively manage day-to-day fleet operations to key performance indicators. . Coordinate shuttling and maintenance work with vendors, partners and local fleet leads. . Clearly communicate real-time status updates internally and externally . . Accurately keep track of fleet maintenance activity and costs using the tools provided. . Maintain 100% compliance on preventative maintenance. . Generate reports and work with data to provide insights on fleet performance. . Prioritize operational issues as the real-time point of contact for fleet issues and implement creative solutions to solve problems as they arise. . Work collaboratively with cross-functionally to develop scalable processes and tools to increase operating efficiency and performance. . . Who You Are:. . . A self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility. . Fluency with microsoft suite and comfortable learning new tools . . 3-5 years of previous project management, operations, or fleet management experience [preferred but not required]. . Previous experience with Salesforce and Tableau a plus. . Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders. . Outgoing and sociable; skilled at communicating professionally with colleagues, vendors and partners from a broad range of backgrounds. . Highly organized and detail oriented. . Proactive problem solver, you take initiative to jump in when problems arise. . Fluent in English, additional languages a plus. . Bachelor’s degree preferred. . .
