Job Description. ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences LLC is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Test Analyst – Journeyman to support a U.S. Army program. This position is fully remote, but the candidate must reside within the Continental United States (CONUS) and be available during core business hours.. The Test Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of Army applications and systems. This position is responsible for designing, documenting, and executing test plans; identifying and resolving defects; and verifying system readiness prior to deployment. The role requires collaboration with technical teams and vendors and supports broader quality assurance and cybersecurity compliance initiatives.. Responsibilities:. • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and acceptance criteria for Army applications and systems. • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring that applications meet performance and reliability expectations. • Conduct testing of new and modified product components, ensuring alignment with design specifications and user needs. • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues. • Guide junior personnel in proper test setup and execution techniques. • Act as a liaison with external suppliers to define or revise specifications and validate component performance. • Apply testing procedures to evaluate vendor-supplied components and sub-assemblies. • Support and maintain quality control and reliability engineering programs. • Ensure all test efforts comply with Information Assurance (IA) requirements in accordance with AR 25-2 and DoD 8570.01-M. Minimum Qualifications:. • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline(additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree). • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience defining, executing, and interpreting developmental tests for complex systems or components. • Active Secret Security Clearance. • Fully Information Assurance (IA) certified in accordance with AR 25-2 and DoD 8570.01-M (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.). • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including experience generating test reports and presenting findings. Preferred Qualifications:. • Prior experience supporting U.S. Army or Department of Defense testing environments. • Familiarity with defect tracking tools, automated testing platforms, and system diagnostics. • Experience with cybersecurity testing protocols and secure system environments. • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional remote teams. • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management systems.
